President Richard Walker

University of Houston System Chancellor Renu Khator appointed Dr. Richard Walker to lead as the sixth president of UH-Clear Lake effective May 20, 2022. He was formally conferred at an investiture ceremony on January 27, 2023. Dr. Walker brings over 40 years of experience in higher education, at both public and private institutions, to his role.
